The grapes for Fields were sourced from Testa vineyard in the Mendocino County AVA.Testa vineyard in Calpella has been in the Testa family for five generations, founded by Gaetano and Maria Testa in 1912.The Carignan vines here are nearing centennial age and along with all the other Testa vines, have been dry-farmed from the beginning.The grapes here were de-stemmed into open-top
fermenters, manually punched down and pressed into neutral French oak barrels. Cranberry, blackberry, citrus, and earth are well defined here with gentle tannins meeting the acidity on the palate. Chillable, but with just enough grip to stand up to almost any dish you might pair it with.A wine that truly belongs on the table at every meal." - Don't Worry
