Julien Altaber began Sextant while working with Dominique Derain in Saint
Aubin, one of the pioneers of organic viticulture and natural
winemaking in Burgundy. Sextant has quickly become among the most
sought after new names in Burgundy. Julien and his partner Carole
recently bought the domaine from Dominique after his retirement, and continues to make the Sextant line now alongside the Derain wines.
