Niepoort 'Drink Me Nat Cool' 2020 (1L)
Portugal - Very light in colour, the 2020 vintage of this wine offers a frank and expressive aromatic profile full of freshness and floral notes. It showcases the character of the Baga grape variety and Bairrada region superbly, with beautiful aromas of strawberries, dried roses and some spice. The wine’s minerality is reminiscent of the vines’ calcareous soils and unmistakeable Atlantic climate. Fresh, direct and very seductive, this wine is light on its feet and so easy to drink, it will entice you to have another glass. It makes a very versatile food wine – just add a good meal and good friends! Serve chilled.
Domaine Les Arabesques 'Lou Pal' 2018 (750ML)
France - Saskia Van Der Horst was born in New York and eventually
left to study photography in London. After working as a
sommelier there for several years, her interest and passion
for wine drove her to leave for Burgundy, to study the
winemaking side of the business. In 2013 Saskia found vineyards in the Roussillon and created her Domaine ‘Les Arabesques’. She immediately
converted to organic farming. Lou Pal is 100% Syrah from young vines planted on clay-limestone soils near Estagel. This wine sees semi-carbonic fermentation. Sappy blackberry juice with wild rose and violet. The taste shows dry brush, blackberry again, seaside melon, and a hint of fun dip (specifically the stick). Overwhelmingly bright, crunchy fruit, best enjoyed with a chill. Not weighed down in the slightest, this expression of Syrah is lifted and vividly refreshing.
Domaine Glinavos 'Paleokerisio' 2020 (500ML)
Greece - 10.5%. Intense and highly complex aromatic composition with characteristic aromas of apple, butter, and sweet spices like cinnamon and cloves. Rich on the palate, refreshing and well-balanced with main aromas of apple, butter flavour with a mild oxidation, as well as aromas of cinnamon and a hint of vanilla. Aftertaste reminiscent of sweet cherry and refreshing bubbles that highlight the complexity of aromas in every sip.
