A solidly medium-bodied wine that will speak to lovers of Syrah driven Cotes-du-Rhone reds. Made of an undisclosed field blend, but historically this wine featured good amounts of Blaufrankisch and St. Laurent. The grapes used are more tannic and heavy than those of Beaujolais’s Gamay for example, so this is a more structured and larger wine than other nouveaux. Foresty and hearty yet bearing its youthful fruity and herbal notes. Made with organic grapes, no filtering or fining, indigenous yeasts, and absolutely nothing added, not even sulfites.
